PTA Teacher Appreciation Week - May 4-10

In 1984, PTA established Teacher Appreciation Week—the first full week in May—to honor the dedicated men and women who lend their passion and skills to educating our children.

"Teachers can instruct our students in math, science, and language, but more than that, teachers can give our children the will to continue learning for the rest of their lives. The gift of never-ending education is one for which we cannot show enough gratitude—but we can certainly try." 

The MLK PTSA Staff Appreciation Committee is sponsoring a Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, May 6.  The event setup starts at 9:00 am and will run until about 1:00.  Staff lunches begin at 10:30.
Volunteers are needed to donate either:
    · Salads (Fruit, Pasta, Regular, Potato, Taco Salad)
    · Main Dishes (Sandwich Platters, Baked Ziti and/or Lasagna, Crock Pot Dishes, etc.)
    · Desserts (Cookies, Cakes, Cheese Cakes, etc.) and/or help with set up or cleanup.
